Amanda Jones

Executive Director

Amanda brings more than 20 years of experience in education, leadership, and building meaningful connections within the communities she serves. She earned her Master of Education in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis from Edgewood College and has served in a variety of roles throughout her career, including special education teacher, Statewide Implementation Specialist, and Special Education and Pupil Services Director. Her professional journey has been guided by a passion for helping others, building strong relationships, and leading with compassion, collaboration, and purpose. In addition to her work in education, Amanda is a licensed real estate agent and co-owner of Countryside Classics, a family-owned business she and her husband have operated since 2018. As the proud parent of two daughters who have been involved with horses from a young age, she has witnessed firsthand the confidence, connection, and growth that can develop through interactions with horses. Amanda is grateful to be part of the SMILES community and is dedicated to supporting its mission of enriching lives through the healing power of equine-assisted services.
